Terms of Service

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and us. They apply together with information shown at checkout, our Returns page, Warranty page, and Privacy Policy.

We may present additional terms, policies, or notices on the Site or at checkout. If there is a conflict between these Terms and checkout terms required by Shopify or payment providers, the checkout terms govern the transaction to the extent of the conflict.

The Site and our launch offer are intended for customers in the United States only. You represent that you are at least 18 years old, located in the United States, and legally able to enter into these Terms.

If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk. We do not offer sales outside the United States at launch.

The Traveler is a professional folding hair dryer with a BLDC motor and dual voltage support for 120–240V, 50/60Hz. Product images, specifications, and marketing copy on the Site are for general information. Minor variations in appearance, packaging, or materials may occur without notice.

You agree to read and follow all product instructions, safety labels, and documentation before use. The Traveler is an electrical appliance. Improper use can cause injury, fire, or property damage.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We may refuse or cancel an order (for example, due to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory limits). If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged for that order.

Prices, taxes, shipping charges, and promotions are shown at checkout and may change before you complete your purchase. You are responsible for reviewing your order summary before payment.

Checkout is hosted by Shopify. When you select buy or checkout on the Site, you are redirected to Shopify checkout using our configured checkout URL. Payment processing, fraud screening, and order confirmation are handled by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not store full payment card numbers on the Site.

At launch we offer free standard shipping within the United States and ship to U.S. customers only. Shipping options and estimated delivery times are shown at Shopify checkout. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the address you provide, except where applicable law requires otherwise. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

Eligible orders may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Full return eligibility, conditions, and shipping terms are stated on our Returns, Refunds & Shipping page at https://thetraveler.shop/returns and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

To request a return, follow the instructions on that page and contact support@thetraveler.shop with your order number and reason for the request. Approved returns are processed according to the policy in effect at the time of purchase.

Refunds, if applicable, are issued to the original payment method through Shopify unless we agree otherwise or law requires a different method.

The Traveler is backed by a one-year limited warranty. Coverage, exclusions, and the claim process are described on our Limited Warranty page at https://thetraveler.shop/warranty and may be updated from time to time. Warranty terms in effect at purchase apply to your product unless a more favorable term is required by law.

Our Privacy Policy at https://thetraveler.shop/privacy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information. By using the Site or placing an order, you acknowledge that policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law. See the Privacy Policy for details on analytics, Shopify checkout, and your choices.

The Site, product designs, trademarks, logos, text, images, videos, and other content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes related to learning about or purchasing our products.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, scrape, or create derivative works from the Site or our content except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent.

THE SITE AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED ON THE SITE, IN THESE TERMS, OR IN A WRITTEN WARRANTY, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that products will meet every individual expectation or perform identically in all environments.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those cases, disclaimers apply only to the extent permitted.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER WE NOR OUR OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, OR SUPPLIERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE, PRODUCTS, OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE, PRODUCTS, OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

The limitations in this section do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including certain personal injury caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, where prohibited by law).

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our officers, members, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or products, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, or refuse future orders, if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, applicable law, or checkout policies, or if necessary to protect the Site, customers, or our business.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and disputes) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Site and revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for material changes to existing orders.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal U.S. law applies.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact support@thetraveler.shop and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the dispute informally.

Except where prohibited by law, you and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

If you are a consumer, you may have rights under applicable law that cannot be waived by these Terms.
